Michael Raphael is the Director of Capital Markets and is responsible for the underwriting, placement of debt and equity, and timely execution of all commercial real estate transactions. Michael has more than nine years of financial service experience managing complex transactions across a variety of asset classes from inception to delivery. 

Prior to LGA Capital, Michael was a Vice-President at Tejas Securities, a broker-dealer based in New York City. While there, he worked closely with institutional investors to identify, analyze, and execute investment opportunities in the high-yield and distressed debt markets and co-founded a bankruptcy claims trading desk.

Michael holds a bachelor's degree in Economics & Political Science from the University of Miami and received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School, concentrating in Finance and Entrepreneurship.

Michael holds his Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 63 (Uniform Securities State Law), and Series 66 (Uniform Combined State Law) securities licenses and sits on the Index Committee of WilderShares ECO Index Fund which tracks the performance of the clean energy sector.

Michael is a member of The Associated’s Young Leadership Council, a member of The Associated's Real Estate Committee, and sits on the Board of Directors of CHAI.

He currently resides in Pikesville, MD with his wife and two children.
