June 2016, LGA Capital was engaged as exclusive executing broker to raise tax credit equity capital for Seminole Equity Partners’ family of SEP Renewable Energy Funds.
Formed in 2013, Seminole Equity Partners is a joint venture between Seminole Equity Investments and Round Rock Partners.
Seminole is a national renewable energy finance leader and full-service tax credit syndicator. Since inception of the tax credit programs, Seminole’s principals have closed several billion dollars in tax-incented investments. The Seminole Companies have endeavored to create “One-Stop-Shop” financing for renewable energy by providing renewable energy developers with both debt and equity.
Federal law provides for a tax credit to develop renewable (solar and wind) energy assets. Suitable investors will purchase limited partnership interests in a diversified portfolio of renewable tax credit energy properties. This allows investors the opportunity to make socially responsible investments in renewable energy structured to generate return on investment while also decreasing tax liability.
